Santa Croce di Magliano: After the “Mash_Up_2” project, together with the Sprar Casa D'Amico, the boys from the Liceo Scientifico and Guerrilla SPAM, the second guest artist of the 5th edition of the PAG was SODA.
SODA is a multifaceted artist , capable of expressing himself through painting, spray, graphics, videos and music. Music, architecture and abstraction represent a cornerstone of the artist's research who loves to play with the complexity of the geometric elements and the layout of the letters.
He studied Architecture and Design in Italy and currently works as a designer at London. Since 1993, the artist has created works on walls around the world with a variety of dynamic and apparently weightless works. Throughout his career, SODA has participated in numerous live painting sessions and his graffiti has recently been included in a monograph entitled "Graffiti Expressions Manifestes. There are the street art ne dit pas ". The book, published in October 2016, represents an overview of the culture of graffiti and collects the works of fifteen international artists.
SODA's style is to remove all that is redundant in order to reach the viewer with his language minimalist and clean. In his canvases, he uses simple lines and curves bringing two-dimensional and three-dimensional space into dialogue, just like in the Kinetic art and Op art of the 1960s.
